Selamat Hari Raya

Hey People,
I am sorry for not updating so often these days because of me getting lazy over stuff.
Anyway, i didn't get to do much during Raya actually besides leeching foods from my malay friends who invited me during Raya.

Fortunate for them and not to Afiq, I didn't get to attend except Afiq's Open house (:
I don't have any pictures to update so I am going to steal the pictures from Jamie Liew (:

So anyway, Afiq's open house was really awesome because his open house consist of different variety of race attending to his Open house.
We have the main three race in KL of course which is Malay, Chinese and Indian.
Besides that, we have a little bit of touch from Korea and ME, Japanese (:
Hey, there's even 3 other Japanese who attended his Open house too ok :P



Peter, my Korean friend who comes all the way from Penang just to visit Afiq's open house. Such an awesome friend huh :D

We makan of course, we were given the opportunity to devour such a delicious Malay Delicacy (:



To try out Malay customs such as wearing their traditional clothes. For me, I only managed to wear a songkok which i am actually forced by Jamie too ):



Korean wasn't given the chance to escape from Jamie's wrath too.
He wasn't happy with being forced to wear Songkok and unfortunately, Jamie even forced him to smile which he can't because he was forced to. Hahahahah!



We get to drink awesome Orange Juice and trust me, I drank it every 5 minutes because I was thirsty and i couldn't help it i guess.



Last but not least, a group picture of people with different races (:
Frankly speaking, I was surprised because I thought there will be a lot of Malay appearing in a Raya Open house. Afiq's Open prove me wrong since i get to see more Chinese compare to Malays in his Open house LOL!
So ya, I was really happy too that I am able to see the union between races in our country (:
Now that, is what we call Malaysia and It makes me really proud to be a true Malaysian (:



Last but not least, a really big thanks to Afiq's uncle for giving us a very warm welcome to the Raya's Open house (: And of course his family as well la :P

MOS

Hey guys,
I bet most of you guys do know What MOS stand for right?
For those who have no idea I doubt so MOS stand for Ministry of Sound which is a really famous club in Sunway (:




I went there last Thursday night and it wasn't as good as what I've expected :S



The Deejay was not that good since he spins most of house Music which makes me sick.
He only spin RnB like what, for an hour??



Besides that, most of the guys there are not planning to have fun but instead they wanna get lucky on that night. Seriously, how desperate the could be.



Besides, most of the people on the dance floor are guys! God! It's even on Ladies night as well too!
Hahaha!
Such an Irony isn't it? More men appear in MOS during Ladies Night ;)


But not everything is bad over there la,
I mean the dance floor is Huge with great sound systems and lighting.
You could even get high when you are on the dance floor due to those loud music and colorful lighting in MOS.
See, you don't need booze to get high anymore (:


So Anyway, I have no photos of MOS and could somebody tell me why MOS is so great and such??

I prefer Maison during Ladies night since Dj Monkey is spinning and seriously, he spins great music! :D
And I think i am going to Maison for the next Thursday thanks to Michelle Lee :D

Hey guys!
I had a phobia, I am afraid of the sea.
Specifically I am afraid of the large sea creatures such as those silly mythical creatures.
I know it sounds silly because they are not real but who knows if they are?

Now there's even one that freak the shit outta me even though it's harmless

Fuck you Oar fish, you might be toothless and harmless but I ain't going to get close to you!


And how strong my phobia is, I am also afraid to go to the swimming pool because my mind will play tricks on me like a 20 feet Crocodile awaiting for me inside the pool or some sea serpent waiting to strike me in the pool as well. Sounds sill since they are not in the pool, I know but I can't help getting paranoid about it :P

A popular speaker started off his lecture by holding up a $20 bill. In the room teeming with people, he asked. "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you - but first, let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. "Now who wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he continued, "what if I do this?" He dropped it on the floor and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless; but no matter what happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. She then slipped out the back door and made her way to the local drug store.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention but he was too busy at this moment. Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good. Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. "I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages," he said without waiting for a reply to his question. "Well, I want to talk to you about my brother," Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He's really, really sick...and I want to buy a miracle." "I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist. "His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?"

"We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you," the pharmacist said, softening a little. "Listen, I have the money ! to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs." The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?"

"I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes welling up. "I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money". "How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago. "One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely audibly. "And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to."

"Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents - the exact price of a miracle for little brothers."

He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said, "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the kind of miracle you need." That well dressed man was a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed without charge and it wasn't long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place. "That surgery," her Mom whispered, "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost...one dollar and eleven cents...plus the faith of a little child. A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law...




There was a blind girl who hated herself because of her blindness. Not only did she hate herself but she hated everyone else, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?"

The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her that simply said. "Just take care of my eyes dear."


This is how the human brain changes when our status changes. Only a few remember what life was like before and even fewer remember who to thank for always being there even when times were painfully unbearable. Life is a gift.

Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Before you argue about your dirty house -- someone didn't clean or sweep --Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
