Archangels

Ever heard of the Archangels?
Apparently there are about 7 archangels that is mention by religion.
And maybe you might not know what archangels are but archangels are the angels with a highest ranking and yes they are like generals or commander in a military lol.

In the Bible or Quran, you might actually find the name of a few angels familiar to you.
Heard of Gabriel, Michael or even Lucifer?
Yes people, before Lucifer were banish into Hell along with the fallen angels, he was the archangel with the highest ranking in the heaven.

Now currently there are 7 archangels so i am just gonna talk about them lol.

Gabriel, known as the "Man of God" or "Might of God." He is the herald of the mysteries of God, especially the Incarnation of God and all other mysteries related to it. He is depicted as follows: In his right hand, he holds a lantern with a lighted taper inside, and in his left hand, a mirror of green jasper. The mirror signifies the wisdom of God as a hidden mystery.
Usually, Gabriel appears in the bible who foretold the birth of Jesus and John the Baptist and in Quran, Gabriel was known send the message from God to Prophet Muhammad saw.

Michael, the current leader of the whole archangels. He is known to be the strongest archangel and he who holds in his right hand a spear with which he attacks Lucifer, Satan, and in his left hand a green palm branch. At the top of the spear there is a linen ribbon with a red cross. The Archangel Michael is especially considered to be the Guardian of the Orthodox Faith and a fighter against heresies.

Raphael who is known as God the Healer. Raphael is depicted leading Tobit (who is carrying a fish caught in the Tigris) with his right hand, and holding a physician's alabaster jar in his left hand. He is known to assist and provide a miracle healing from God to man.

Uriel means "Fire of God," or "Light of God". He is depicted holding a sword against the Persians in his right hand, and a fiery flame in his left.

Sealtiel means "Intercessor of God" (III Esdras 5:16). He is depicted with his face and eyes lowered, holding his hands on his bosom in prayer.

Jegudiel means "Glorifier of God." He is depicted bearing a golden wreath in his right hand and a triple-thonged whip in his left hand.

Barachiel means "Blessing of God." He is depicted holding a white rose in his hand against his breast.

Now that makes all seven right?
But apparently in Islamic teaching, there is also an addition archangel who plays a really important role too!

Azrael is the traditional name of the Archangel of Death. He is also the Angel of Death in Islamic extra biblical tradition and folklore. It is an English form of the Arabic name Azra'il (عزرائيل) or Azra'eil (عزرایل), the name traditionally attributed to the angel of death in Islam and some Hebrew lore.[1] The Qur'an never uses this name, referring instead to Malak al-Maut (which translates directly as angel of death).

So i guess that's all folks! :D
I know the archangel thing is really random but I find it interesting to know some information about this :P
Well i hope you guys had fun with this post!
See ya! :D
